Back Fired!?

Have you tried to help somebody before and things just did not go as planned?

It back-fired and blew up in your face. Then you find yourself wondering why did I even offer assistance or even put myself in that situation. It happens to all of us, we try to do something and it doesn't turn out the way we intended.

So I'm going to stop volunteering my help, and my advice. Just wait until I am asked for help or for  my advice. That seems easier than taking it into your own hands.

2014 - A Work In Progress

This is pretty much going to be a run-down or summary of what happens in 2014....

I will update as things happen...


1. My nephews make six months
2. Chicago blessed us with a surplus of snow
3. One of my friends/brother gets robbed. (sad day)
4. Chicago decided to have two of the coldest days I have witnessed (-40 &-30)
5. Having conversations about making T-Shirts
6. Fun night with the bros
7. My brother becomes an uncle again (his sister had her baby)
8. My mother starts up her ideas for my blog.
9. Spent the day with Br33zy and Rick.
10. Vicky started to show that she care about my friend.
11. My nephews decide to come visit me.
12. MiMi started walking.
13. Making money.
14. DiBiase is in school.
15. Ricky started working.
16. My Aunt birthday.
17. The Seahawks demolish the Broncos in the Super Bowl
18. My other Aunt's birthday
19. I watched my nephews for the first by myself.
20. I was selected to join the YearUp program (IT program)
21. My cousin gave birth to Ivory my new cousin.

Communication is Key!

Communication is the key and the base to all real relationships. You can't even call yourself a friend if you never talk to that person. Some people think just saying hi, how you doing, and bye is having a conversation; but that is basically checking up on somebody. Some people suck at communication, we all know or have a few people like that in our life. How is a person going to know if you're going through something or need some help if you don't talk to them about it. Even through text messages, for an example if I never hear from you after I have reached out numerous times there is no point of me even texting you. Communication goes a long way, there has to be some kind of communication to get any where.

The iPhone

The picture above does not contain the iPhone 5c or 5s.

The notorious apple iPhone. This phone has been one of the top selling devices since it has been released, if not the top selling device. I have owned every one except for the very first one and the 4s. My thing is for those loyal iPhone users, are you not tired of looking at the same phone over and over again? They did come out with the iOS 7 update which changed the entire user interface as we know it. So if you are showing us that you can change the interface after so long, why not change the look and feel of the entire phone? There are phones out here with almost six inch screens and us iPhone users are stuck with a four inch screen. Other phones let you customize almost everything on the device, and we are limited to backgrounds, ringtones, and a few other minor changes. We spend money to be told what we can and can not do on our phones. So hopefully with this iPhone 6 releasing some time in 2014 apple will think outside of the box. 

Chicago or Chi-Raq ??

Look violence in Chicago has gotten so out of hand these days its ridiculous. I remember when I was attending CSU (Chicago State University) the weather was just starting to break. So of course people were happy that the weather was starting to get hot, but the first two weeks of hot weather 40 people were shot. People crack jokes all the time about how the heat brings the violence, but to turn on the news everyday and see some one has fallen again due to a shooting is very sad. Like when you need a gun to sit on your own porch you know things are getting critical.  People coming outside with guns tucked away saying " Man I always have to be prepared, you never know what is about to happen." It is crazy how some people come outside and see guns and have no reaction, that is the part that is crazy. People are so used to seeing guns that it doesn't even have an effect on them. Like it is just crazy when I think about it.
